Start Your Impossible

Since 2015 Toyota has been the Worldwide Mobility partner of the Olympic & Paralympic Games. In 2024 the games move to Paris where we, for the first time, are the official partner for material handling equipment. This fits perfectly with our company purpose to ‘Move the world towards easy and sustainable’ - given Paris 2024's carbon emission target. 

From October 2022, all employees in the company were invited to join Toyota’s ‘Start Your Impossible’ programme, with the aim to make a difference for themselves, their colleagues and society at large. 

Start Your Impossible not only showcases remarkable Olympic and Paralympic athletes but also sheds light on the heroes behind their success – the coaches, teammates, parents, and fans – the community that fuels their journey. Where you come from - your community – matters. It’s this respect for local communities and long-standing commitment to sports that shines in Toyota’s support of more than 200 Olympic and Paralympic athletes around the world. 

Marathon for all

Can you imagine running an Olympic marathon? For 12 of our colleagues, this dream is becoming a reality during the Marathon for All, organized as part of Paris 2024. This marathon allows members of the public to push their limits and experience an exceptional moment, following in the footsteps of Olympic athletes.  

With the Olympic Games approaching, our colleagues are preparing for the run of their lives on August 10th. They will be running either a 10K or a full marathon through the heart of Paris. Each participant has their own goals, motivations, and preparations. We spoke to some of them to learn more about their inspirations and how they are getting ready for the race.  

Let’s support them in their preparation for this remarkable event! After all, no journey is taken alone. 

Toyota Logistic Design Competition

Our approach to design is simple. We constantly welcome new talents, explore fresh visions and encourage open minds. Our quest for tomorrow's solutions inspired to launch the Toyota Logistic Design Competitions for students. Staying ahead of the times is only possible thanks to our daily search for the freshest and most forward-thinking designers of material handling equipment.  

Circular economy – Every little bit counts  

The challenge for this edition is to come up with ideas for how circular economy principles can be applied to logistics. Where waste is brought down to a minimum, and resources are used to create as little negative impact on the environment as possible. Ultimately, of course, your ideas, inventions and solutions are all about improving people’s lives.
